Official rules

ELIGIBILITY:

  1. To participate, complete the online form above. Participants must be present at the BHOOC event in Precita Park and be a minimum age of 21.
  2. Each family is limited to one entry.
  3. Employees and their immediate families of Architect Mason Kirby, Inc. are excluded from participation.
  4. Ensure the provided phone number is accurate, as the winner will be notified via text message.
  5. The sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or illegible entries, or for any technical malfunctions leading to a failure in entry processing.
  6. Participation constitutes agreement to the official rules and the sponsor’s decisions, which are conclusive in all matters related to the contest.

DOOR PRIZE DRAWING PERIOD:

Entries are accepted starting at 5:30 PM on September 9th, 2023 PST, and conclude at the time of the second drawing during the intermission of the BHOOC movie screening at Precita Park.

DRAWING:

  1. Three winners will be selected via a random drawing from all valid entries using https://www.random.org/.
  2. The initial drawing is scheduled for 6:30 PM, followed by a second drawing during the intermission at approximately 8 PM.
  3. Winners will receive a text message notification immediately after the drawing and must be present to claim their prize.
  4. All prizes should be claimed no later than the end of the movie screening or by 10:00 PM, whichever is earlier.

PRIZE:

Winners will receive a gourmet outdoor cinema snack basket with beverages. No cash substitution is permitted. However, at the winner’s request, wine can be exchanged for a non-alcoholic beverage of equivalent value. Winners are solely responsible for any applicable taxes. Estimated Prize Value: $150.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

  1. Winners are required to promptly complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and a Publicity Release upon receiving their prize.
  2. The Affidavit of Eligibility confirms the winner’s age, ensures only one entry was made per family, and affirms the absence of any deceptive practices.
  3. The sponsor retains the right to disqualify any participant for tampering with the entry process, violating the website’s terms of service, non-compliance with official rules, or any unsportsmanlike conduct.
  4. By accepting the prize, winners agree to release the sponsor and associated entities from any liability concerning any injury, loss, or damage, whether direct or indirect, arising from prize acceptance, use, or contest participation.
  5. The Publicity Release grants the sponsor permission to announce the winner’s name and use their photograph for promotional purposes.

Employees and family of Architect Mason Kirby, Inc. are not eligible. Ensure you get your phone number on the form because the sponsor will notify the winner by text. If your entry is lost, late, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, or illegible; or any part of our vast communication infrastructure fails to capture an entry or process the entries to select a winner, the sponsors are not responsible. By entering, you agree to the official rules and the sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all respects.
  2. DOOR PRIZE DRAWING PERIOD The Entry period opens at 5:30 PM September 9th, 2023 PS. It closes at the time of the second drawing around the time of intermission of BHOOC movie showing in Precita Park.
  3. DRAWING The two winners will be selected by random drawings using https://www.random.org/ from all eligible entries received during the contest period up to the time of the respective drawing. The first drawing will be at 6:30 PM before the show opens.  The second drawing will be at Intermission around 8 PM.  Winners will be notified by text message immediately following the drawing. You must be present to win. Winners must claim prizes by the end of the movie showing or 10:00 PM, whichever comes first.
  4. PRIZE The prizes are gourmet outdoor cinema snack baskets with beverages. The prize is the prize. The sponsor won’t assign, transfer or substitute cash in lieu of it. If winners request, the sponsor will swap out bottles of wine for an equally attractive non-alcoholic beverage. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Prize Value: $150 
  5. GENERAL CONDITIONS Winners will be asked to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and a Publicity Release on the spot when Sponsor hands you the basket. 
    1. The Eligibility Affidavit says that you’re at least 21, submitted only one entry per family and didn’t employ any shenanigans to win. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the prize drawing  or website; to be in violation of the Terms of Service of the website, to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
    2. The Liability Release says that by accepting a prize, the winner releases and agrees to hold harmless the Sponsor, and their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to person, including death, and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, participation in any door prize contest activity, or participation in this contest. 
    3. The Publicity Release says the Sponsor can publish your name as a winner and use your picture in an announcement.
